Russia became the country to record the highest annual smartphone growth by volume during the quarter, mostly
boosted by the 2018 World Cup Event.
Russia smartphone shipments jumped almost 20% YoY in Q2 2018, and was higher than most of major countries.
It was even higher than India, and we think that most of local and foreign smartphone OEM's have been vying to get higher share in the host country of 2018 World Cup Event.
