Q1’18: Indonesia Leads “Next 45” Handset Markets

Indonesia, Bangladesh and Vietnam were ranked the top three markets in terms of handset shipments in Q1 2018, in our recent report Handset Vendor Market Share for "Next 45" Countries: Q1 2018 , from the Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) Service.

These markets together accounted for more than a quarter of the global handset shipments in Q1 2018. Samsung, HMD (Nokia) and Apple held the top three positions of the combined handset volumes to these markets.

 The “Next Forty Five (45)” countries tracked include:  Argentina, Algeria, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Vietnam.
