According to the very latest report, 'Global Smartphone Vendor Marketshare for 15 Countries : Q4 2017', published under Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) service, Huawei remained one of top 5 smartphone vendors in all major West European countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK during Q4 2017.

For instance, Huawei became no.3 vendor in Spain, by smartphone shipments, but was very neck and neck with Apple and Samsung, so it wouldn't be a surprise if this Chinese vendor would become the leading smartphone vendor in this country in Q1 2018. Various smartphone line-ups across the mid to premium-tier from Huawei P8 / P9 / P10 series, including P10 Lite, P8 Lite  and P9 Lite (2017), are estimated to help with this healthy market share in countries in West Europe.
