Softbank to Remain Biggest iPhone Provider in Japan with New Program

by Woody Oh | Sep 13, 2017

Less than 12 hours since the special Apple event at Steve Jobs theater in Cupertino, the US was finished, Japanese Softbank has released a new plan / program in which the users could buy the newly-launched iPhones such as iPhone 8, 8+ and X at 'half the price' under the Super Bonus Program for the new iPhones.

Softbank has been the biggest Japanese operator to provide the Apple iPhones in terms of shipment units, ahead of NTT-DOCOMO and KDDI in Japan, and this time, this operator was very quick to push ahead with the new plan to entice a great number of users. We think that the other two competitors must follow the suit, introducing the similar plans for the new Apple iPhones.

The in-detail Apple iPhone volume by operator in Japan can be viewed at the below report, published under Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) service.
