vivo, the 5th largest smartphone provider worldwide in 2016, is aiming to enlarge its global footprint. This Chinese smartphone maker started to ship its smartphones to Philippines from earlier in 2016, and recently succeeded to collaborate with Smart Communications, one of the leading mobile carriers in Philippines.

As a part of the mutual agreement between vivo and Smart, vivo is supposed to provide the Smart-specific 4G LTE smartphones mostly for prepaid subscribers, and it appears that vivo's V5 and V5 Plus, focusing on the selfie camera functions, are coming to the operator in no time.
