LeEco, previously known as LeTV, one of the fastest rising smartphone vendors, based out of China, is starting to sell their reasonably-priced, but high-performing smartphones, Le2 and Le Max 2, in Russia in Q3 2016.

It is estimated that these two LeEco-branded devices are sold through online channels at the first phase, expecting to widen the distribution into operators and retailers as the second phase.

With the entry into Russian smartphone market by LeEco, we expect (1) LeEco to keep growing in the global smartphone market over the next couple of quarters, and (2) Russian smartphone market to get more intensified.
