vivo, a Chinese smartphone specialist and top 10 smartphone vendor worldwide, made an entry into the Philippines smartphone market with Y51, a dual-SIM capable 4G LTE mid-tier smartphone in Q1 2016.

While focusing on its home China smartphone market, vivo is in the middle of expanding its market into South East Asian countries such as India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
