According to the recently-posted
Japan handset report by operators, published under our Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) service,
Fujitsu became the largest handset vendor at NTT-Docomo, the biggest mobile carrier in Japan, in Q3 2015,
surpassing Apple, Sony and Sharp.
In terms of handset shipment in Q3 2015, Fujitsu regained the top position at NTT-Docomo
in THREE years since Q3 2012, mostly helped by almost
exclusive partnership with NTT-Docomo and
a large number of products across RakuRaku and Arrow-branded models, overtaking Apple who led the top ranking chart with iPhone 6 and 6S during the quarter, but with few number of products.
