by User Not Found | Sep 23, 2015

As our HCST service has already covered Google's bid to expand its stock Android presence into several African countries beyond Asia Pacific region last August, this software giant is now coming to more countries in Middle East and West Europe by working with local vendors such as BQ and Infinix.

As of today, smartphones powered by Google Android One initiatives are sold or will be sold soon in 20 countries across three continents, Asia Pacific, Africa & Middle East and West Europe.

Asia Pacific : India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Pakistan, Thailand

Africa & Middle East : Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco, UAE

West Europe: Spain, Portugal, Netherlands

Attentions should be noted on the fact that Google is extending its coverage into some developed markets in West Europe, and it is collaborating rising local vendors, such as BQ in Spain and Portugal, and General Mobile in Turkey, in which our HCST service is tracking the quarterly handset shipments of those local vendors.
