Apple stopped Samsung from sweeping the handset and smartphone market in 15 major countries.

Based on the diverse product portfolio strategy across multiple price-tiers and strong Galaxy brand image, Samsung captured number one position in handset and smartphone shipments ranking in almost all of 15 major countries globally during Q3 2013, but according to the recently published handset and smartphone market share reports for 15 countries in Q3 2013 published our handset country share tracker (HCST) service, which is available to our existing clients, Apple stopped Samsung from leading the handset and smartphone market in all 15 major countries with the success of its newly-launched iPhone 5S and 5C. The existing clients can look at the handset and smartphone shipments by vendors during Q3 2013 in 15 major countries such as the US, China, India, Japan and UK.
