Samsung will soon be revealing its next generation Galaxy Z Flip4 and Fold4 at a launch event August 10.  Ahead of the launch it announced that it had sold nearly 10 million foldables in 2021. While not exactly news to us, the announcement confirmed Samsung's complete dominance of the segment in 2021.



Looking to the rest of 2022, 2023 and beyond, we predict Samsung will continue to maintain a commanding lead in foldables globally.  Samsung created the segment and has continued to innovate in foldable technology while steadily bringing down pricing for the devices.
