Carbon Fiber Smartphone: Survey Result

by Neil Mawston | Mar 17, 2021

We surveyed this week over 100 tech-industry stakeholders worldwide on LinkedIn about whether they would purchase a smartphone wrapped in lightweight carbon fiber.

Carbon fiber is popular in F1 motor racing and can make your phone (much) lighter, thinner, sleeker -- but it is way more expensive.

Surprisingly, a hefty 30% of tech-savvy, affluent, self-selected adults said yes or maybe, they would buy a carbon phone at US$1,000 retail.

Apple iPhone, Samsung, LG, Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO, Sharp, Sony, Motorola, HMD Nokia, Qualcomm, MediaTek, Telenor, Verizon... are you listening?
