Samsung Fold and S10 smartphones were introduced to the world this week.

Our EDT (Technologies) service had a good look at the models and were impressed by the wave of cutting-edge or novel technologies thrown into the devices.

They include:

* 5G = This marks the start of the end of the 4G era. 5G is (finally) real. The next billion devices are coming!

* Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor = More secure, accurate and advanced than optical.

* Mega storage = laptop-like memory well above 1TB. Samsung is the memory king.
