FLIR has become the global standard for thermal imaging technology. From phones to drones (and beyond) its thermal imaging technology is being used by contractors, pilots, the military and others to help see objects invisible to the naked eye.

FLIR has now won a contract to equip US Army troops with miniature drones that will allow them to better see threats on the battlefield. Technology that is first available to the military eventually translates to civilian uses and the work that FLIR is doing in small drones will undoubtedly follow this path.
