LG’s Financials Take a Hit in Q3’16

LG’s Handset Revenues, Operating Margins and ASP’s declined significantly in Q3’16 despite its volumes growing by 6% YoY. Our latest analysis of the vendor, available here , from the Emerging Device Strategy (EDS) Service confirms to its flagship devices having failed to take off during the quarter.

LG is sliding down quickly and we have recommended a number of steps for this vendor in our insight to reverse this decline. We reiterate that it is in dire need of a stand out flagship, to script a faster turnaround in the handset market.
