Worldwide Mobile Phone Sales Will Grow +3% in 2016

According to new research from our WDS (Devices) service, global mobile phone sales will grow +3% in 2016. Asia Pacific will remain by far the world's largest region. The "big five" countries globally will be China, India, United States, Brazil and Indonesia by 2020. Emerging markets are outgrowing developed markets. For example, Samsung and Apple are helping to push higher volumes in India.
