by Neil Mawston | Oct 06, 2015

According to our WDS (Devices) research service, global wholesale revenues for mobile phones will grow +4% during 2016. Japan will deliver the highest average selling prices (ASP) for handsets, due to extensive LTE penetration. Parts of Asia Pacific and Africa will generate the lowest prices due to slower 3G/4G adoption.

Our extensive report -- available to clients here -- forecasts mobile phone wholesale ASPs and revenues for 88 countries worldwide from 2012 to 2020. The datamodel is a valuable tool for device vendors, operators, component manufacturers, software developers, financial analysts, car makers and other stakeholders who want to size the mobile phone market by revenue and price for dozens of countries and regions.
