North America Handset Shipments Hit A Record High in Q4’14 Thanks to Apple’s Bigger iPhones

According to the latest report ‘VENDOR SHARE: North America Handset Vendor Marketshare: Q4 2014’ from our  Wireless Device Strategies (WDS) research service, mobile phone shipments improved by +27% annually to a record high in North Americaduring the fourth quarter of 2014. Apple's new and bigger iPhone models dominated the quarter, while ZTELG and TCL-Alcatel each made strong annual gains. LTE volumes continued to grow robustly, driven by Apple, Samsung, ZTE and others.
