In a recent AppOptix report, we published yearly comparative data showing the minutes of use per day and daily sessions by ethnicity by year (2016 vs. 2017 year-to-date).  The data shows that for some ethnicities, the number of daily sessions are down year-over-year, but the minutes of use/day/user is up across the board.  See the highlights in the figures below.
