Qualcomm has the leading market share in the smartphone cellular radio transceiver market.  At least one transceiver ships with each radio communications processor (baseband processor), all from the same supplier, and Qualcomm has the highest market share in baseband processors, so also having a high share in transceivers is not too surprising.

The significance here is that millimeter wave (mmW) has given Qualcomm a big boost in sales and share.  All mmW-enabled 5G smartphones, for example Apple’s iPhone 13 models for the United States, use one or more mmW transceivers in addition to a conventional RF transceiver for radio frequencies below 6 GHz or so.
