Qualcomm just posted a blog with the latest Ookla speed test results for 5G devices.
According to the results, in the U.S., 5G mmWave is
thirty-eight times the speed (38x) of 4G LTE. Operators in the U.S. offer 5G mmWave in almost all 5G smartphones, but now all five operators in Japan have adopted it, Australia just launched it, several countries in Europe are using it, and China is expected to start using 5G mmW in 2022. It makes the most sense in dense urban settings where it helps alleviate congestion, improving the average user experience.
