Amid endemic data hacks and breaches, AI data privacy startup Mine has emerged from stealth with a $3 million Seed funding round to disrupt the notion of digital data ownership and finally give consumers leverage in a market that has fundamentally failed them.

If you want to remove your digital footprint, other than laborious work to determine all of your accounts, your comments on social media, blogs, shopping sites, forums, banks, job sites and a plethora of other places, you needed to engage the services of a company that would do that work for you.   Or so they claimed.   
There were three flaws to that:
  1. it required at least one person to see the information you wanted to be deleted
  2. the diligence of the operator has a large impact to deletion success.
  3. there is no guarantee they could get the data deleted
So is Mine a game changer?
