Report Summary:

In the video space, content is king. But when too many SVOD services come to life, finding and discovering content can become troublesome and lead to user frustration. Strategy Analytics had previously found that fragmentation was one of the primary issues with video consumption. In recent news, Netflix is likely to lose its top two TV series from its platform, going to each of the content creator’s respective service. With this continued fragmentation of individual services, comes continued change and evolution of consumer behavior when it comes to video consumption and will generate new forced behaviors, overriding simplistic consumer desires.
