Last year Google Assistant launched a continued conversation feature allowing users to provide a follow-up command or question within a certain amount of time without having to use the wake up command again. A few months later, Amazon launched a similar feature on select Alexa devices. Now in March, this feature has finally come to Google Smart Displays, but across both platforms the initiation sequence is too deeply rooted to be easily recognized by the average user.
