Report Summary:

While the number of regular mobile music streamers and users of side-loaded MP3s continues to steadily increase in Western Europe, regular music consumption appears to have plateaued in the US in 2015.  Consumers with unlimited mobile data plans are more likely to engage in mobile music streaming than those with limited data plans.  For the majority of music consumption in the US, streaming over Wi-Fi or over mobile network is the most common source of mobile music being consumed.
