The primary driver to using live broadcasting mobile apps for consumers is the ability to better interact and engage with their friends/followers while sharing their experiences live. Live broadcasting has made the social networking experience more useful and compelling, resulting in greater overall frequency of access to Facebook for these users. One of the biggest barriers to adopt Twitter’s Periscope is the requirement to download and use a separate app for live broadcasting.
