Overall device satisfaction in China is high, with steady increases across all core device features and services assessed by Strategy Analytics since 2014. Consumers are most satisfied with their phone’s camera picture quality, display quality, ease of browsing the web, and general ease of use. However, consumers in China are least satisfied with their phone’s battery life. As long battery life is the second-most important factor for Chinese consumers when looking to purchase their next smartphone, device OEMs who can effectively corner this area stand to promote their device as strong differentiators across their competition – regardless of mobile OS. Premium smartphone owners are more satisfied with every device feature and service assessed compared to owners of entry smartphones. Taking all features and services into account, Apple owners in China are the most satisfied with their devices.
