This report provides an overview of the user experience of the Amazon Fire TV Cube. The Cube combines their Fire TV system into an Alexa voice-enabled cube device.
The initial out of box experience and onscreen setup of the Cube is very straightforward and sets the bar high for initial setup, as it also includes voice cues throughout the setup process. Incorporating voice into their Fire TV systems creates a more versatile device – going beyond their traditional Fire TV devices or standalone Alexa devices. However, voice use throughout is limited which does create an inconsistent user experience throughout.
