OECD Mobile Voice and Data Price Benchmarking Q1 2021 update:

The Q1 2021 update of the OECD Mobile and Data Voice Price Benchmarking service is now available for download. For a residential user with a moderate call and relatively low data (making 100 calls a month totalling just over 188 minutes, and with a 2 GB mobile data requirement and 140 text messages), the Smart LU SIM only 5G tariff, with 5GB data from Tango in Luxembourg is the cheapest overall, at USD PP 9.51 per month. Only slightly more expensive than this at USD PPP 9.80 is the My Prepaid Epic Value tariff with 5GB data from Optus Australia and, at USD PPP 9.86, the Cellcom Unlimited 200 GB 5G tariff. Note the very high data allowance offered by Cellcom, for the very low price. At the other end, Bell Mobility in Canada is the is the most expensive, at USD PPP 47.64, with its Prepaid Unlimited Minutes and 3GB of data. Only slightly cheaper is Hungary’s T-Mobile Domino Fix tariff at USD PPP 47.43.

The Q1 2021 update for Mobile Voice and Data service incorporates the OECD 2017 baskets, which are shown in the table below.
