The average cost of the OECD 30 calls basket is USD PPP 15/month, with cheapest offerings coming from Entel in Peru, Digicel in Jamaica and Movistar in Mexico. BTC in the Bahamas, Movistar in Nicaragua and Tigo in Honduras are the most expensive for this low use basket. A user in Nicargua (the most expensive country) will pay 12 times the cost paid by a user in Peru (the cheapest country).
For a low to mid-range user – 100 calls + 500 MB, the average cost per month climbs to USD PPP 34. Entel, Peru is still the cheapest overall, followed by Movistar in Mexico and Oi in Brazil. The three most expensive countries for at this usage are Bahamas (BTC), Venezuela (Movilnet) and Nicaragua (Movistar), and a user in Nicargua (the most expensive country) will pay 7 times the cost paid by a user in Peru (the cheapest country).
The system contains full results for the 11 mobile voice/mobile voice and data baskets, at both a country and a provider level, although it is possible to produce a customised subset of results using the built-in functionality within the system.
