Report Summary:

OECD Fixed Voice and Leased Line Price Benchmarking Q2 2022 update: Turk Telecom, Turkey has the cheapest offering for medium business users of fixed voice, while TDC Erhverv in Denmark is the most expensive.

The Q2 2022 OECD Fixed Voice and Leased Line Benchmarking Service update is now available for download. For a mid-business user (making 100 fixed voice calls per month, which equates to 200 minutes per month), the Ev Avantaj 100 plan from Turk Telecom in Turkey is the cheapest at USD PPP 12.88 per month excluding VAT. Second cheapest is the Volani CZ with unlimited talk minutes from Telefonica O2 in Czech Republic at USD PPP 18.65 excluding VAT.

TDC Erhverv of Denmark is the most expensive, with its PSTN Professional Plus service, at USD PPP 84.56 excluding VAT, while second most expensive is Netherlands KPN, with its Small Business Telephony, BelOnbeperkt NL (unlimited calls option) service, at USD PPP 78.49 excluding VAT.

The TDC plan is just over 6.5 times the cost of the Turk Telecom Plan, while the OECD average stands at USD PPP 45 excluding VAT.

For most countries, the bulk of the cost comes from the upfront rental charges including calls.

The Q2 2022 update for Fixed Voice services incorporates the OECD 2017 baskets, the latest baskets available for fixed voice. It is possible to view the results in a wider range of currencies.
