Report Summary:

The June 2013 update for the Teligen OECD Mobile Broadband Price Benchmarking Service is now available. This short insight highlights some of the key trends emerging around 3G and 4G pricing and speeds. Service speeds have increased dramatically over the past 12 months; the average plan speed now stands at just under 33 Mb/s. This is largely as a result of upgrades to 3G services, and the introduction of 4G services – almost 30% of offerings across the OECD are 4G. The new services have brought with them an increase in price, although notably pricing is much more in line with 3G offerings.
