Although there is synergy between CSPs and Cloud service providers there is also a fundamental conflict of interest. The two are inherently competing with one another to capture ‘their share’ of the value that network services and cloud access deliver for customers.
It is time for CSPs to leverage their bargaining position appropriately to achieve fair partnerships.
In this analysis we attempt to create a framework that will allow CSPs to classify Cloud partnership opportunities; and focus on those where they can improve ROI or achieve a ‘win-win’ relationship.
