Report Summary:

Global mobile data traffic increased 74% in Q3 2016, with the 16% associated rise in mobile data revenue helping to keep overall service revenue in positive territory, up 0.5%. Non-messaging data revenue now accounts for one half of service revenue globally, up from one quarter three years’ ago.

This data table tracks the operational and financial performance of 262 active wireless operators, which collectively account for 80% of the world's cellular subscriptions. New operators added this quarter are Telenor Serbia, Vip Serbia, Orange Mali, Malitel, Viva Kuwait, and 3’s operations in Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, and the UK.
