Report Summary:

In the second quarter of 2015, Broadband subscriber growth in North America has slowed compared to the second quarter of 2014.  DSL subscribers continue to decline at operators including AT&T, CenturyLink, Cincinnati Bell, and Verizon.  In some operators, Fiber subscriber growth is not covering the DSL declines, leading to overall subscriber declines.  Cable operators are continuing to see success by marketing higher speed services, including Gigabit.  Comcast added 179,000 new broadband subscribers during the quarter to bring its total to more than 22.5 million.

This interactive database summarizes quarterly subscriber growth trends for the 26 leading Broadband Service Providers (BSPs) operating in the United States and Canada, comprising 87% of the North American market. The operator-level tracked data includes subscribers, growth rates, ARPU and other selected financial metrics.  The report also contains a flat file of all data, allowing clients to create customized pivot tables.
