As Communications Service Providers (CSPs) and their Vendors increasingly host service platforms at the Cloud Hyperscalers’ Data Centers, those Hyperscalers are themselves designing/creating infrastructure platforms and software to perform multiple communications service functions themselves.

In this presentation we review the emerging platforms of four Cloud Hyperscalers and the likely strategies they reveal.

The presentation paints a picture of the likely positioning of AWS, Facebook Connectivity, Google Cloud and MS Azure. And although all the information presented is publicly available there are some significant implications for CSPs that emerge when the four strategies are considered together.
