China’s regulator has just issued 5G commercial licenses to four service providers, including the three incumbent operators and a new entrant – China Broadcasting Network Company. The licensing will be a great boost to the performance of Chinese telecom equipment vendors as well as helpful to accelerate the maturity of the global 5G ecosystem.
But key questions remain for future 5G development in China.
