OECD Mobile Voice and Data Price Benchmarking Q4 2020 update:
The Q4 2020 update of the OECD Mobile and Data Voice Price Benchmarking service is now available for download. For a residential user with high call use and relatively low data (making 300 calls a month totalling just under 577 minutes, and with a 5 GB mobile data requirement and 225 text messages), the Smart LU SIM only 5G tariff, with 5GB data from Tango in Luxembourg is the cheapest overall, at USD PP 9.53 per month. Only slightly more expensive than this at USD PPP 9.58 is the My Prepaid Epic Value tariff with 5GB data from Optus Australia. At the other end Hungary’s T-Mobile is the most expensive, at USD PPP 77.78, with its Mobile L + 15GB tariff.
