Companies in Strategy Analytics’ Mobile Game Index (MGI), including Activision-Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Colopl, Vivendi and others reported $3.5 Billion in mobile related revenue during 2016, up over $1 Billion versus 2016. Despite this, less than half of the seven mobile gaming studios featured in this report reported quarterly growth. G5 experienced the highest growth over the previous quarter with an increase of 67%. Conversely, Colopl experienced the largest decline (-35%) over last quarter. This report focuses on the financial reports from seven of the top mobile gaming companies.
