Strategy Analytics forecasts that in Europe total advertiser expenditure on mobile devices (handsets and tablets) will almost double from $18.7 (€16.9) Billion at the end of 2017 to $40.6 (€36.7) Billion by 2023. Across this period, the share of digital advertising dollars captured by mobile devices will rise from 37% to 55%, as growth in mobile advertising outpaces desktop advertising.
