Please contact us to discuss pricing Contact Us

Report Summary:

On Wednesday, June 2 AT&T Wireless announced that it would cease offering its $30/month unlimited data plans and instead offer two tiered plans for new customers. The base offering will consist of 200MB for $15/month (equivalent to $.06 per MB) and the more expensive plan will consist of 2GB for $25/month (equivalent to $.013 per MB). AT&T’s decision will have ramification for subscribers, competitors, and handset manufacturers as all players in the ecosystem attempt to position themselves as winners after the announcement. But the real winners may be low end users looking to upgrade to a smartphone.
