Strategy Analytics forecasts that in Europe total advertiser expenditure on mobile devices (mobile phones and tablets) will almost double from $18.7 (€16.9) billion at the end of 2017 to $37.2 (€33.6) billion by 2022. Across this period, the share of digital advertising dollars captured by mobile devices will rise from 37% to 53%, as growth in mobile advertising outpaces desktop advertising.
