More than 2 Billion people will be watching video on mobile devices by 2021, driving the total value of global mobile video market to $30 Billion, doubling the value of 2016. This is largely driven by the fast growth of ad-funded video market as well as the steady growth of subscription based streaming services. Although the number of mobile video users on connected tablets is only a quarter of the number on mobile handsets, the average value created by a tablet user is 2.5 times that of a user on mobile phones.
