Larger Screens Better Video Quality and 4G LTE Essential to Stimulating Greater Mobile Video Usage
During December 2013 Strategy Analytics’ Global Wireless Practice (GWP) surveyed just over 500 mobile phone users in each of six mobile markets (China, France, Germany, Spain, the UK, and the USA) about the consumption of media services on their phone. This insight focuses specifically on questions relating to the consumption of video content on mobile phones. Top drivers to increase mobile video usage, how video is consumed, e.g. web versus application, and mobile network versus Wi-Fi usage, are all examined in this report.
