Other non-video apps - such as Dubsmash - are becoming global phenomenon co-opting consumer screen time and creating new partnership opportunities.

In order to track these changing market dynamics, Strategy Analytics has launched the Entertainment App Tracker. Each month we will update how the category fares across 150 countries (on iPhone and iPad) and 10 countries (On Google Play). In addition, we will highlight emerging apps that are dominating the global entertainment landscape.
