Facebook digital media revenues decline $1.1B QoQ in Q3 2022
TechInsights' Digital Media Index (DMI) analyzes quarterly digital media revenue trends for 42 publicly traded companies across games, advertising, video, music, and social media. The Digital Media Index measures growth on both a quarterly and trailing twelve month (TTM) basis.
Excluding Twitter, which went private after being acquired by Elon Musk, digital media revenues fell by $1.37B in Q3 2022, down 0.7% QoQ, among companies tracked. Facebook saw the largest decline QoQ in Q3 2022, losing $1.10B, followed by Alibaba ($714M), and Google ($593M).
In terms of absolute revenues, Google remains the DMI leader, generating $69.09B in revenues during Q3 2022, followed by Facebook with $27.71B, and Apple with $19.18B.
