Service Provider Quarterly Recap and Guidance Comcast (CMCSA) CY Q411
Comcast lost 17,000 video subscribers in the fourth quarter, marking the seventeenth consecutive quarter of net subscriber declines. High Speed Internet (HSI) subscriber numbers increased by 336,000. Despite these pay TV losses, Comcast continues to lead as North America’s largest pay TV provider, claiming over 22.3 million pay TV subscribers with average revenue per video subscriber (ARPU) of $141.24.
