Report Summary:

Purchase intentions for TVs have risen for the first time in two years but are still below mid-2011 levels according to our survey of more than 6500 respondents. Blu-ray disc appears to be in trouble as consumers have reduced their buying plans steadily over the past two years, and notably in the US over the past six months. Interest in connected TV players, including Apple TV, has also declined. This Bulletin presents purchase intention data for TV and AV devices across the US and EU4 (Fra, Ger, Ita, UK).
