Report Summary:
Over the past half year Sony achieved the biggest improvement in the ConsumerMetrix Technology Brand Preference Index, but Samsung remains in first place. Other strong performers included Toshiba, Blackberry, Lenovo and Asus. The weakest performers have been Motorola, Panasonic, and, surprisingly, Apple, which saw declines in preference in certain key demographics. This Bulletin presents consumer preference rankings for 20 consumer technology brands: Acer, Apple, Asus, Dell, Google, HP, Huawei, Lenovo, LG, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Philips, Blackberry, Samsung, Sanyo, Sharp, Sony and Toshiba, as well as changes in performance over the past year, based on a survey of more than 6100 respondents.
