Report Summary:

Apple slipped further down the rankings in the second half of 2013 and was particularly affected by loss of support from its core high income and younger demographics. Meanwhile Chinese brands Huawei and Lenovo, while still a long way behind, made the strongest improvement over the same period, reflecting the impact of the marketing campaigns of both players. This Bulletin presents consumer preference rankings for 21 consumer technology brands: Acer, Amazon, Apple, Asus, Dell, Google, HP, Huawei, Lenovo, LG, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Philips, Blackberry, Samsung, Sanyo, Sharp, Sony and Toshiba, as well as changes in performance over the past two years, based on a survey of more than 6000 respondents.
